Introduction to Complex Systems


WS 2022 - Basic Information

Here’s some basic information concerning the setup of the course for the winter semester 2022. If not all your questions are answered feel free to contact me.

Lecture

Date & Time:

  • The lectures are held Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm.

Location:

  • Building 18 (Leonor Michaelis Building). This is where the IRI Lifesciences is located.
  • Seminar Room 104. You have to enter the building from the back.

Seminar

This year the seminar is done in a block. This is different from previous years. Because we are approximately 10 students, we will need 2-3 days for the seminar. The reserved time slot is:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 17th, 2023 - Friday, Jan. 20th, 2023
  • 10:00am - 4:00pm

We probably won’t need the last day (Friday).

The announced location is digital. The only reason for this is that we couldn’t get a room for the event. I will try to find one, so we can have the seminar physically.

Lab Course

The lab course is scheduled for

  • Tuesday, Jan. 3rd, 2023 - Friday, Jan. 13th, 2023
  • 10:00am - 4:00pm

Location:

  • The lab course will take place in Inv42, I-MB, SR 312A. This is the seminar room in the building at Invalidenstrasse 42, where the Institute for Biophysics is located.

Final exam

How will this course be graded?

An important question, no doubt. At the end of the term, we will have a final, written exam. This exam will be graded and determined your final grade. The exakt date for the final exam will be set during the next few weeks and posted here.
